Help us celebrate the National Park Service Centennial, National Public Lands Day and Art in the Park!
Attention all ‘chalk’ artists! Paterson artist Mohamed Khalil and the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park are hosting the 5th annual asphalt art competition this Saturday, September 24 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The competition will be held within view of the falls at Overlook Park, 72 McBride Avenue.
The program at the Great Falls is to draw attention to the national park by using art to interpret its natural, historic and cultural stories. Each artist will be given their own asphalt ‘canvas’ and use their creativity to tell a visual story about the park and the City of Paterson.
Our younger participants will receive an art supply "swag bag" upon completion of their art work, while supplies last.
If you have any questions you may contact Mohamed Khalil at firstname.lastname@example.org
